ICTP is organizing a workshop and school on the mechanics of the earthquake cycle that will start on Monday October 16th and will be held in Trieste.

The program will involve a series of lectures, talks, computer exercises with ample time for posters and discussions.

There is no registration fee and the living expenses within the campus are cheap.

A limited number of grants are available to support the attendance of selected PhD students and early career scientists from developing countries and working on the mechanics of the earthquake cycle.

All participants are encouraged to submit an abstract for a poster presentation and/or a contributed talk.
