The aim of this workshop is bringing together international research teams focused on this key sector of the Western Mediterranean to strengthen their scientific collaboration through the development of new research projects related to the geological history, active tectonics and geological hazards in the Alboran basin and surrounding mountain ranges. The workshop is designed to promote multidisciplinary international exchange between scientific teams from the North and South of the Mediterranean, including geological, geophysical and geodetical field and offshore studies.
