SUMMARY:***CANCELLED*** 18th Symposium on Tectonics\, Structural Geology and Crystalline Geology (TSK)
DESCRIPTION:The 18th Symposium on Tectonics\, Structural Geology and Crystalline Geology\, for short “TSK 18” will take place  from 16th – 20th March at the Institute for Geology and Mineralogy of the University of Cologne. \nAll European working groups in the fields of Tectonics\, Structural Geology and Crystalline Geology are cordially invited to join us at the next TSK meeting. As one of the foundation ideas of  TSK\, we intend to offer young and early career geoscientists a stage for their research. We therefore especially invite and encourage PhD students and post-docs as well as undergraduate students to actively contribute to the symposium. Of course\, we also address the “old guys” who kept TSK alive for now 36 years and all other experienced geoscientist. \nCologne can be easily reached by train\, from the airport Cologne/Bonn and also by car. There are plenty of accomodations\, from youth hostels\, other hostels and hotels on all price levels available. To attract especially young scientists we try to keep costs as low as possible.
